
Derek G. Lyon

Derek Lyon grew up in the beautiful landscapes of Southeast Maine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, earning a degree in Biology, laying a strong foundation for his future career in healthcare.

After graduation, Derek worked as a paramedic in New York City and Jersey City, NJ. His experience in high-pressure situations and passion for patient care led him to pursue advancement of his career into the field of critical care medicine. Derek earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Columbia University, and Master's of Science from Columbia University. Derek went on to work as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Columbia University Medical Center from 2009-2019.
With over 10 years of experience as a critical care ICU nurse practitioner, Derek has a deep understanding of complex medical conditions. His commitment to excellence in healthcare naturally led him into the field of aesthetics, when in 2019 he became one of the senior partners of Vos Aesthetics in NYC. Derek has since taken a special interest in men's health and aesthetics, which led to Lyon Elite Aesthetics, where he has been making a significant impact in the growing field of men's health and aesthetics.

In addition to his clinical practice, Derek is passionate about education, currently serves as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University School of Nursing, where he inspires the next generation of nursing professionals.
With a rich blend of experience in both critical care and aesthetics, Derek is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to his patients, empowering men to rediscover their confidence, ensuring they feel their best inside and out.

Mr. Lyon graduated college from Brandeis University in Massachusetts with a BA in Biology.

After spending several years as a paramedic he then attended Colombia University School of Nursing and received his BS in Nursing.

Immediately after receiving his BS in Nursing he continued his studies at Colombia University and completed a graduate program to receive a Master's in Nursing for Acute Care Practitioners.
